Yeah, life has been crazy. I have been taking care of Chantal's kids while she is at work, and since she works from 2 to 10:30 (or whatever, I am not even entirely sure what her schedule is) I do school duty, take care of the babies, get dinner on the table, baths, bed, pack lunches, and anything else that needs to be done. I go to bed pretty worn out. In between all of that, I have to work, and of course I have Savino who is pretty used to having me to play with whenever he wants. I'm tired.

So far I guess it is going alright. Chantal hasn't been too bad about helping out around the house, though it seems to be limited to emptying and reloading the dishwasher. I guess I will have to actually say to her "Can you please..." so that she will know what I need help with. I would be happier if she was more involved in the kid's day to day stuff, she doesn't seem too interested in what is going on with Laila and school or how Jaden's day is when she's not here, but whatever. It's to be expected.

I'm also super stressed about money. Money is TIGHT with all these extra people in the house and I am trying not to flip out, but Chantal moved in and is not contributing financially so it's difficult.

I am also trying to kick a stupid cold that seems to be going through the house. Savino is battling it right now as well, he has a very runny nose and some congestion but otherwise seems alright. He is still nursing so I hope he doesn't get hit as hard.

Savino had his 1 yr. checkup the other day, he is 31 and 1/4 inches long and weighs 22 lbs. 6 oz. He got very tall (2 inches in 3 months) and didn't gain much weight. The dr. says he looks good though, and says he is going to be very tall! He also said I'm not allowed to cut his hair hehe, it is too cute curly! Our dr. is wonderful, he love love loves Savino so that makes it even better. Savino got his MMR shot and may be feeling icky next week as a result, let's hope not!

I have lots of pictures that I have been putting off editing from Savino's birthday party. I think he had a good day though it was a little eclipsed by Jaden flipping out and screaming every time Chantal walked away from him. He had a fun time smooshing cake and smearing it everywhere and eventually eating it, and he liked looking at his cards and playing with the wrapping paper from the gift he got (everyone else got him gift cards, which is what he needed since I really needed to go buy clothes for him).

I am still in denial. I can't believe he is one. And his personality gets so much more interesting all the time, he is so rambunctious and funny and sweet. He is so loving and loves to just cuddle with everyone, even Jaden. It is so cute the way that he loves to lay with Jaden, and they have so much fun interacting with each other. It helps that Savino and Jaden are the same size so they are pretty much on the same footing except that Jaden can get up and walk away hehe.

Well, before we know it, it will be Christmas and everything will be changing again. I can't believe this year has flown by so quickly. I am kinda freaked about it actually.
